Twitter is a free social networking and
micro-blogging service that allows users to send and read each
other’s updates, known as tweets. Imagine getting paid simply for

Tweets in its first month. Murphy says about 500 advertisers, mostly
small- to medium-size businesses, plus a handful of Fortune 500
companies, are using the platform. Marketers have access to the
entire database of tweeters and can select whom they want to pay and
how much they're willing to dish out. Compensation is based on a
user's expertise or passion, how many followers that person has and
other metrics, like how often the tweeter's followers click to links
posted on his or her Twitter page.
Twitter offers you the option to "tweet' small tidbits of
information and gather followers. If you are good at tweeting, you
can send out a dozen or more tweets a day and work in something
about your website or busines in one or two of those tweets.
Another way to make money on Twitter is through Affiliate Marketing.
If you are recommending a Product or a Service to your followers,
you can always embed your affiliate link in your tweet. Or instead
of taking your followers to another website using your affiliate
link, you might just want to promote your own product & services and
sell them directly with your own website. Another option is to set
up sales pages and your website and send that link on your tweet.
This is an area where every one can really look into. For instance
say when one of your followers is asking for suggestion to choose a
web host, you can always suggest him the best one from your
experience but at the same time use your affiliate link which can
earn you some quick cash.
