Newsletters
Writing a newsletter on a regular basis is a great way to keep people returning
to your website. There are many tools and resources that show you how to write a
newsletter. Why use a newsletter, you ask? Well, they are targeted traffic and
they want you to give them more information about your website's
subject. An HTML newsletter is a web page that is transmitted via
some email broadcasting service. Because this format incorporates
graphics and color, HTML newsletters are more attention-getting than
plain text newsletters. Overall, when compared to a plain text
newsletter, HTML newsletters:
–Have a higher click-through rate (more readers click on the links
contained within your newsletter that link back to your site,
affiliate program, or sales offers)
–Permit you to track your open rate (determine how many readers
actually open your email newsletter)
–Help you continue to establish your brand in front of your readers,
as it may carry the same look as your website or other marketing
materials you may use
–Are read more often than plain text newsletters because of the
eye-catching graphics
Newsletters are great way to share free tips and information to your
valued customers (and potential customers). Not only you can give
them free information and at the same time, build a loyalty and
trust towards you, but you can also sell your special offers time to
time. Though, you shouldn't always send them an offer each time you
write and send a newsletter, but simply let them know the latest
products and services you have to offer them.
Keep in mind, that 80% of your newsletter must contain free tips and
helpful information and the rest, 20%, you can offer them the
products that you want to sell, but not for each newsletter. Once
again, don't only send those offer newsletters, because at some
point, they will get frustrated and unsubscribe from your newsletter
service. Give them what they want first!
More and more people participate in forums these days. One of the reasons is
because you can get professional advice for free. And this is exactly what makes
forums a great place for you to get bright ideas for your newsletter content. You simply need to go to the forums where your target market hangs out. There
you will discover many of the most common questions and problems your target
market has. So you can write helpful articles about them. |
